Privacy and Cookie Policy

This policy explains how Pesina handles personal data when you visit www.pesina.com.tr, contact us or use the Project Assistant. It is written to meet the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who we are
The data controller is Pesina Ltd, Yenişehir Mah. Sümbül Sok. No:8-2-603 Ekinci B Blok D:81, Pendik – Istanbul, Türkiye. For any privacy question or request, write to pesina@pesina.com.tr.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, country and your message.
- Project Assistant: the project details you choose (country, city, unit types, materials, finishes, quantities, notes) and, when you send your board, your name, company, email address and WhatsApp number.
- Your material board on your device: while you use the Project Assistant, your answers are saved only in your own browser (local storage) so you can continue later. They reach us only when you press “Send”. You can delete them at any time by clearing your browser data.
- WhatsApp and email: the messages, files and contact details you send us.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request, recorded by our server for security and to block spam.
- Analytics (only with your consent): anonymous statistics about how the site is used, collected through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
We do not ask for special categories of data (such as health or religion), and we do not sell personal data.

Who receives it
We share personal data only as far as needed:
- Our service providers: our web server provider in Germany (netcup GmbH), Amazon Web Services (email delivery, EU region), Microsoft (our email service), Meta (when you contact us through WhatsApp) and Google (analytics, only with your consent).
- Manufacturers and forwarders: to obtain prices and plan shipments, we share the project details they need (products, finishes, quantities, destination). We share your contact details with a freight forwarder only when you ask us to.
- Authorities: when the law requires it.
Transfers abroad
Our team works in Türkiye and some of our providers process data in the European Union or other countries. When you send us a request from abroad, or when we use these providers, your data is transferred across borders. We rely on the safeguards the law provides for this (KVKK Art. 9 and GDPR Chapter V, including standard contractual clauses where applicable).
How long we keep it
- Quotation requests, Project Assistant boards and related correspondence: up to 3 years after our last contact, so we can follow up on your project.
- Order and export records: as long as Turkish commercial and tax law requires.
- Server logs: a short period, as needed for security.
- Analytics data: according to the retention settings of the analytics tool, at most 14 months.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed for the site to work, plus analytics cookies after you accept them in the cookie banner. Visitors from the EU, EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland see analytics switched off until they agree. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie banner or by deleting cookies in your browser.
The Project Assistant keeps your board in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie, and does not send it anywhere until you choose to send it.
Your rights
Under KVKK (Art. 11) and the GDPR you can ask us to:
- tell you whether we process your data and give you a copy;
- correct incomplete or wrong data;
- delete your data or restrict its use;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.
Send your request to pesina@pesina.com.tr. We answer within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or to the data protection authority in your country.
Children
Our site is for business customers and is not intended for children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy when our services change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
